Skin {The Woodlands Texas Portrait Photographer}

My career started as a digital retoucher and probably the most important thing I leaned was to NEVER BLUR skin so I tend to obsess with skin during retouching.  The goal is always beautiful flawless skin while still retaining texture.  There are a lot of quick tools and plug-ins for skin and some do a pretty good job, but most of the time I use frequency separation to clean up the skin and retouch each imperfection one by one.  Retouchers for magazines will spend multiple hours just working on the skin for just one image… I can’t afford to spend that much time on one edit… but I work pretty darn hard to give clients the most professional results in my allotted timeline and I think skin retouching makes for the the biggest transformation in my images.   Most of the time I ask clients not to wear foundation…
